Governor Makinde Seeks Support for Iwajowa Obas

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde has urged the people of Ilaji-ile, Iwere-ile, Idiko-Ago and Idiko-Ile in Iwajowa Local Government Area of the State to cooperate with their new beaded crowned Obas in order to move their ancient towns forward socially, economically and culturally.  Governor Makinde speaking through the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye during the official crowning ceremony of Oba Lawal Oyedepo O Alebiosu, Bajigan of Ilaji-ile, Oba, Rev/Evang John Odedokun , Ayinla Ilufemiloye, Oniwere of Iwere-ile, Oba Joseph Tewogbola Oyediran, Onidiko of Idiko-Ago, and Oba Nicolas Oyelami Folaranmi, Onidiko-Ile appreciated all the sons and daughters of the respective towns for their cooperation and maturity, adding that he was sure that the good names of the indigenes has been registered in the history of the towns.  Speaking further, Governor Makinde congratulated the new Obas on their new status as a b

Gegun Ayetoro-Oke Wears Beaded Crown Oba

Ayetoro-Oke, an ancient town in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State on Tuesday 25th April, 2023 received unprecedented crowd when the Gegun of Ayetoro-Oke Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Najeemdeen Afolabi Osuolale Adesola Adelaja (Tukuru II) became a beaded crown king.
