Okeho Community Call on Oyo Deputy Governor to Fulfill Promise .






The Chairman Planning Committee of the just concluded Okeho day celebration, High Prince Dr. Leye Babalola has called on the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal  to make good  the promise he made to the people of the community during the 2022 Okeho Day celebration. 
Speaking exclusively to OkehoNews, the Chartered Tax Practioner said that the Deputy Governor who graced the celebration on the 26th of November 2022 asked the Planning Committee to come to his his office for the donation of the state government on the following Thursday, which they did and up till date nothing has come out . 




He lamented the level of neglect being experienced by the community from various governments and most expecially this administration which he said  has practically done nothing for the town in almost his four years tenure. 
High Prince Babalola who is also the Vice President Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( Africa Region) said that his committee resolved to embark on the light up Okeho project when the state government  light up program  was not successfully extended to Okeho. He said despite many assurance from government officials Okeho light up project was never executed. 




He therefore stated that the community is hereby poised to resprocate any gesture or other wise at the polls.

Ojedokun finally Dumps ADC, leads his group to PDP in Kajola LG

Prominent groups within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Kajola LG led by Hon.
