Ilero Day 2022: OkeOgun is fairly treated under Makinde - Bayo Lawal ,Oyo Deputy Governor
The yearning and aspirants of the people of Oke Ogun area has been well captured in the 2023 budget for the overall development of the region. This assurance was part of speech delivered by Oyo state Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal who represented the State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde at the 2022 Ilero Day Celebration. The Deputy Governor noted that the Seyi Makinde led administration since inception has been running an inclusive government with people oriented programmes for the overall development of the state. He disclosed that rehabilitation work has commenced on Alaga-Ilero-Ayegun road. The Deputy Governor who emphasized that several developmental projects proposed for oke ogun region have been captured in the 2023 budget, urged the people of the area to support the government of the day in it's programmes.
